Stephen Allen leads Elevate's work ensuring that offerings solve business-of-law problems that law departments and law firms face now and will confront in the future. His work includes directing the integration of our consulting, technology, and service offerings at an enterprise level, bringing the best of Elevate to customers through expert-led, multi-disciplinary solutions, identifying and preparing for the opportunities that tomorrow's market will present. Stephen also runs Elevate consulting, strategic pricing, and account management. Stephen joined Elevate in 2020 from Hogan Lovells, where he was responsible for innovation, data science, legal tech (AI, Machine Learning, Automation), digitalization, legal operations, and disruption. Earlier in his career, he worked as a lawyer both in private practice and in-house, subsequently becoming Managing Director of two divisions of Orange-France Télécom in the UK and Continental Europe. Stephen's achievements as a leader in legal service transformation include architecting and implementing the multi-award winning Managed Legal Service℠ BLP contract for Thames Water, the first-ever multi-year, fixed-price law firm deal for legal services. In 2019, The Financial Times named him the inaugural recipient of Legal Entrepreneur of the Year in the 2019 Innovative Lawyers Awards.
